Frequently Asked Questions

What will I receive?

Each product is a downloadable PDF edition. The product page states the scoring, number of pages and contents of the edition. Separate instrumental parts are included only when the product description explicitly says so.

Are these physical books?

No. Early Music Scores sells digital editions. No physical item is shipped.

How do I receive my files?

After payment, the file is available on the order-confirmation page. Squarespace also sends a download email to the address used at checkout.

What if my download link has expired?

Download links remain active for 24 hours. If a link has expired, open it again and Squarespace should send a refreshed link to the email address used for the purchase. If you still cannot access the file, use the Contact page and include your order number.

Does every edition include instrumental parts?

No. Most editions for voice and continuo contain the score only. Separate instrumental parts are included where explicitly stated on the product page.

Can I request a transposition?

Yes. Please use the Contact page and include the composer, title, preferred key or vocal range, and any deadline. Availability and price are confirmed individually.

Can I request a new transcription or edition?

Yes. Requests for new editions and transcriptions are welcome. If possible, include the composer and title, the source or shelfmark, the required scoring, and any deadline.

What should I do if I have a problem with an order?

Please use the Contact page and provide the order number, product title, and a brief description of the problem.
